Five months after announcing that downtown restaurant The Macintosh would be closing, The Indigo Road Hospitality Group today announced that a Mexican eatery will be taking over the space at 479 King Street.
Indigo Road, the award-winning group behind Indaco, O-Ku, Oak Steakhouse, The Kingstide, and Brasserie la Banque, says the new restaurant will be called Maya and is slated to open later this summer.
The group says Maya will be “inspired by Mexico's vibrant and diverse cuisine” and
The restaurant will also have an open-air patio, a full bar, live music, open-fire cooking on a comal, and an authentic griddle used to cook the aforementioned masa.
Opening in late summer 2021, Maya will offer dinner and late-night service seven days a week, as well as brunch on the weekends.
