The Charleston Carriage Association for Responsible Equine Safety (Charleston C.A.R.E.S.) announced today that their member companies will be closed during the day on Thursday, July 8th, due to anticipated inclement weather from Tropical Storm Elsa.
Charleston C.A.R.E.S. is made up of the three largest carriage companies: Charleston Carriage Works, Old South Carriage Company, and Palmetto Carriage Works.
Established in 2017, Charleston C.A.R.E.S. says its mission is to advocate for the highest levels of equine care in the nation.
