Beginning this month, Chef Orlando Pagán will celebrate his Puerto Rican roots with a special dinner series held the last Sunday of each month throughout the summer at Wild Common.
From the Luquillo food kiosks to the El Yunque rainforest, the menus will offer a culinary tour inspired by Chef Pagán's “Enchanted Island” hometown. Guests can expect creative takes on traditional Puerto Rican favorites including a Mofongo Relleno con Guisado de Mariscos (mashed plantains with local seafood), Mar y Tierra (pan seared wreckfish with roasted pork, rice and pigeon peas), Flan de queso, and more. The full menu can be found on the Wild Common website.
The dinners are $85 per person and reservations are available via Resy. Please note that allergies and dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated for this special pop-up series. A portion of all proceeds from the events will be donated to Chef José Andres' non-profit World Central Kitchen. Since Hurricane Maria in 2017, #ChefsforPuertoRico continues to remain active on the island and has served more than 3.7M meals to date.
