Mellow Mushroom on Saturday announced on social media that they had closed their Summerville location. The restaurant had been in business for seven years.
The following message was posted on the location’s Facebook account:
“Thank you for SEVEN savory, pizza slinging, pint sipping years. We are deeply grateful for the community of regulars and especially our staff who made magic happen under our Mellow roof.
Yesterday, we served our last pizza at this location. Restaurants are a challenging business in the best of times, and we have decided to focus our team and energy on our locations in North Charleston and West Ashley. We make this decision with an eye on what’s best for us and our teams, and what best allows us to deliver the quality experiences you expect from Mellow Mushroom. We hope to see your faces in North Charleston, where you’ll find many of the Summerville team, and at the Mellows in West Ashley and Mount Pleasant.”
Mellow Mushroom in Summerville was located at 1306 N Main Street.
