Bring your family, friends and Fido to Johns Island County Park from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on May 26th for an “Evening in The Park.”
The brand new dog park will be open, drinks and ice cream will be for sale, and live music will be playing throughout the night. Archery instruction and a portable disc golf basket will also be available for people to try out the offerings at the park.
You can also enjoy the scenery and wildlife as you walk on the park trails or lay down on a blanket under the oak trees draped with Spanish moss.
The new ADA-accessible dog park features separated areas for both small and large dogs as well as a wash-off and covered area for cooling down.
Admission to the event will be free and there will be no fee for any of the activities offered. All staff and volunteers will all be wearing proper PPE. You’re asked to wear a mask when interacting with staff and volunteers.
Restrooms and hand sanitizer will be available at the event. Outside alcohol is prohibited and an ID is required to purchase alcohol. This is a family-friendly event with social distancing. Dogs must remain leashed at all times when not in the dog park.
