A local casting agency is currently a ccepting submissions for those interested in working as paid background extras on the second season of “The Righteous Gemstones,” a HBO show starring Danny McBride, John Goodman, Edi Patterson, and Adam DeVine.
The half-hour comedy series was created by McBride, who wrote, directed, executive produced, and acted in the show. The entire first season was filmed in the Charleston area. The series tells the story of the world famous Gemstone televangelist family, which has a long tradition of deviance, greed, and charitable work, all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Tona B. Dahlquist Casting is handling extras casting and is currently seeking people of all ages, ethnicities, and types. The said many extras will be need throughout the season.
Anyone selected for filming on Season 2 will be required to have two (production arranged and paid for) COVID tests prior to filming. Extras that film on their scheduled date will receive an additional $50 for EACH test taken.
