Charleston Restaurants Open on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day (2020/2021)

I’ve started a list of restaurants that will be open on New Year’s Eve*. This is definitely not a complete list, so if you know of any additions, please let me know (christian@holycitysinner.com)!

  • Offering a three-course, prix fixe menu on New Year’s Eve
    • Reservations are strongly encouraged, as space is limited
    • There will be wine pairings for each course, and the cost is $90 per person

    • Three course pre-fixe menu for $90
      • Highlights include house made focaccia for the bread service, Charleston Pate with grilled sourdough, spiced apple compote, watercress and toasted hazelnuts for the first course, Lobster Thermidor with lemon roasted herb potatoes, asparagus, and bearnaise for the second course and chocolate huckleberry cake with chocolate sauce and huckleberry mousse for dessert. Reservation includes ½ bottle of champagne for two and a full bottle of champagne for four

  • Seating starts at 6 pm
    • Restaurants have to close at 11 pm, so Dockery’s is sending every couple home with a bottle of bubbles
