Representative-Elect Nancy Mace on Friday made the first hire of her congressional operation – April Paris Derr, Director of Constituent Services. Derr joins Mace from Congressman Cunningham’s office where she led casework and set records for constituents served. Before working for Congressman Cunningham, Derr managed casework and more for Congressman Mark Sanford.
“On the heels of victory just one week ago, this immediate hire was a no-brainer,” Representative-Elect Mace said. “April has the experience, talent, and qualifications to always put the Lowcountry first. April is a proven leader and a true public servant. We can’t wait to have her on the team and we extend our sincere gratitude to Congressman Cunningham and his team for their continued assistance and support throughout this transition process.”
