Queen Street Hospitality Group Restaurants Will Be Closed on Election Day

Queen Street Hospitality Group (QSHG), which consists of 82 Queen, Florence’s Lowcountry Kitchen, and Jalisco Taqueria & Tequila, announced that they have decided to close on Election Day (November 3rd) to encourage their staff to get out and vote.

“All Queen Street Hospitality Group restaurants will be closed on Election Day,” Jonathan Kish, Chief Executive Officer at QSHG, said. “Voting is one of the most important civic duties we have as citizens. We want all of our staff to vote and are closing for the day in order to make that easier for them.”

QSHG is the second local organization to announce that they would be closed on Election Day. The 5th Street Group’s restaurants – 5Church and Tempest – will also be closed on November 3rd.
