After temporarily shutting their doors due to the pandemic, The Charleston Grill at Belmond Charleston Place will reopen on Thursday, October 1st. The restaurant is now taking reservations for their reopening through Resy, and will operate at 50 percent.
Longtime Executive Chef Michelle Weaver will roll out a new seasonal menu that the restaurant says will be “centered around Southern soul with contemporary flair – ushering in new daring dishes and classic favorites.” Julie Hennigan (right) will lead the Grill’s front-of-house operations after serving as assistant manager for almost 2 years.
After 15 years with Charleston Grill, most recently as the Assistant Beverage Director, Andrew Marshall has been promoted to Beverage Director.
Charleston Grill’s bar will open to patrons at 5 pm with dinner service beginning at 6 pm. The Grill’s signature live jazz will return as well, on Wednesdays through Sundays 6:30 pm until 9:30 pm.
