The Charleston Gaillard Center has released an instructional video on patron safety and social-distancing guidelines as we reopen the Martha and John M. Rivers Performance Hall to in-person events. Patron safety is always our first priority, and we are committed to following the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the local guidelines from the City of Charleston, while providing the best patron experience.
With this guidance from national, state, and local health officials, we are implementing additional guidelines and procedures for sanitation and cleaning, as well as building modifications, new equipment, and changes in how we host our events.
This commitment ensures the hygiene and sanitation practices of the Gaillard Center will continue to deliver on our rigorous standards.
Highlights of new policies include:
Face coverings are required
One-way patron flow
Clear bags are recommended
Improved cleaning procedures of high-touch surfaces
Staggered arrival times
Upcoming in-person performances include:
An Evening with Brendan James on Thursday, September 17th
Five-Year Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, October 18
Tickets for both performances are on sale now on gaillardcenter.org.
