Local Resident Creates Map of Black-Owned Restaurants in the Charleston Area

K.J. Kearney, a community organizer and Charleston City Paper columnist, earlier this month created a map of black-owned restaurants, bars, food trucks, and other businesses in the Charleston area. As of this publishing, there were nearly 80 listings on the map.

    Why is Dellz at 1617 Ashley River Road, Charleston, SC 29407 not on this list, or are you updating?
    She just MOVED from Rutledge Ave out to the West Ashley area.

    I believe she closed up in West Ashley. From my understanding it isn’t open.
