Handcraft Kitchen & Cocktails Hosting Trio of Special Events This Week



Handcraft Kitchen & Cocktails in Mount Pleasant announced they will host three unique events this week. You can see the full schedule below.

On Thursday, March 5th, Handcraft will host a Bar Takeover Charity Extravaganza featuring 12 bartenders from across the nation. The event, which runs from 6 pm to midnight, will raise money and awareness for Carolina Studios.

Every hour, two bartenders will each develop a cocktail and a shooter from a select spirit. Fifty-percent of all proceeds from the bartenders’ special cocktails will go to Carolina Studios. Brands include Dixie Southern Vodka, Chinola, Sutlers Gin, Makers Mark, Ilegal and Virgil Kaine. Bartenders at Handcraft for the Charity Extravaganza include:

  • Jenn Jarnigan – Winston-Salem, NC

  • Kelsey Henshaw – Dallas, TX
  • Matt Gumm – Portland, OR
  • Pat Joyce – Knoxville, TN
  • Rhea Buck – Charlotte, NC
  • Stephen Kuzminski – Charlotte, NC

On Friday, March 6th, Handcraft Kitchen & Cocktails and Chicago’s premier tropical tiki bar Three Dots and a Dash will host a lively Tiki and Bluegrass event complete with creative tiki cocktails and live bluegrass music. You can learn more about that event in this previous Holy City Sinner post.

Then, on Saturday, March 7th, from 7 pm to 10 pm,  Fratelli Branca will presents Ports of Call at Handcraft Kitchen and Cocktails. This event includes bartenders from The Watch and Home Team BBQ. Attendees are invited to “cruise the world” through creative and imaginative cocktails brought to you by some of Charleston’s finest including Meagan Cheek (Handcraft), Darren Fallon (The Watch) and Anna Lazaridis (Home Team BBQ Downtown). Cocktails provided by Fernet Branca, Borghetti Caffe, and Carpano Bianco. There will also be live music by Ian James. Click here for further information.
