Just in time for the new year, NICO Oysters + Seafood this week launched a new Sunday brunch menu. French Master Chef Nico Romo and Executive Chef Eric Williams have created a menu boasting traditional French fare with a twist. The updated menu also offers kid-friendly options.
Notable additions to the menu include:
- An all-new “Crepe” section featuring variations like Nutella with marinated strawberries (pictured at right) and the Baked Monsieur stuffed with duck confit, potato peppers, dates and gruyere bechamel.
- An expanded croissant offering, including the Croque Monsieur, a decadent interpretation of the classic featuring ham, gruyere cheese and Dijon mustard, and topped with a creamy bechamel.
- Chicken Pate and Waffles, a French remix of a classic brunch staple, this dish offers a fried chicken pate, strawberry syrup, pickled red onions and cornichons.
“With this new brunch menu, we’re continuing to push the limits of what French cuisine can offer,” Nico Romo, Chef/Owner of NICO Oysters + Seafood, said. “Traditional French cuisine is obviously near and dear to me, so having the opportunity to blend French concepts with classic brunch dishes has been a lot of fun. We can’t wait for our guests to try our take on brunch and expand their palate at the same time.”
