Mex 1 Coastal Cantina and Yoloha Yoga Factory are stoked to offer a Surf Conditioning pop-up class at the flagship Mex 1 in West Ashley on Saturday, January 25th with proceeds benefiting Warrior Surf Foundation.
This conditioning workout from Yoloha combines Yoga and a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) together for a fun cardiovascular workout to get you ready for the surf…or for a day of drinking margs.
There are only 20 spots available and the $15 donation will benefit Warrior Surf Foundation, a non-profit whose mission is to improve the lives of Veterans through Adaptive Surf Therapy. Tickets can be purchased here.
The Surf Conditioning class will be a class geared towards surfers and those looking to improve their cardiovascular conditioning through functional training. Class will begin with 15 minutes of yoga, then a 30 minute HIIT class for all levels (think body weight, battle ropes, free weights and indo boards), closing with 15 minutes of yin yoga. Attendees are encouraged to wear sneakers and bring water.
