Unlike the usual ‘shadowcast’ showings of the cult classic film Rocky Horror Picture Show where actors mouth the words to the dialogue and songs on screen, “The Rocky Horror Experience” will feature not only the showing of the film on a full scale movie theatre screen on the Queen Street Playhouse stage, but will include live performances with a band of selected songs throughout the film.
Audience members are encouraged to come in costume to compete in a costume contest. Plus, prop kits – for all your callback and interactive needs – will be available for purchase in the lobby before the show. The theatre also features a full bar with snacks for purchase.
Tickets for the event are $20 for adults and $15 for students and be purchased online at whatifproductions.org or by calling the Queen Street Playhouse box office at 843-722-4487.
“The Rocky Horror Experience” will take place on Wednesday, October 30th at 7 pm and 10 pm. The Queen Street Playhouse can be found at 20 Queen Street.
