Wine Down Wednesday returns this fall at Old Towne Creek County Park. The Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission (CCPRC) invites you to enjoy wine, food truck fare, and live music at this four-part series, scheduled to kick off on Wednesday, September 11th from 5 pm to 7 pm.
Admission includes wine, live music, and a commemorative wine glass. Two different food trucks will be on site each evening, with food available for purchase. The September 11th event will feature music from Eric Vaughn and food from the Madrigal's Tacos food truck and Cirsea Ice Cream.
The fall 2019 Wine Down Wednesday schedule is:
- Sept. 11th: music from Eric Vaughn; Madrigal's Tacos and Cirsea Ice Cream food trucks
- Sept. 25th: music from Eric Barnett; Kickin' Chicken and Charleston Pops food trucks
- Oct. 9th: music from Nathan Calhoun; Sabor Cubarican Cuisine and Oh So Gelato food trucks
- Oct. 23rd: music from Mark Jackson; Happy Thai and Miss Katie's Sweets food trucks
All event hours are 5 pm to 7 pm. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the gate.
Old Towne Creek County Park is located in West Ashley on Old Towne Road. This land will be developed into a county park available for regular use in the future; however, it is currently only open for special events and private rentals. Old Towne Creek County Park features 67 acres of beautiful open fields complimented by groves of live oak trees.
