The Parkinson’s Foundation (PF) will host its 2nd annual Moving Day Charleston, A Walk for Parkinson’s, on Saturday, May 18th at James Island County Park, and the organization recently announced that Charleston Mayor John Tecklenburg and his wife, Sandy, will be in attendance. Moving Day Charleston is one of more than forty grassroots events taking place across the country this year.
Mayor Tecklenburg and his wife will serve as Grand Marshals for the walk and will provide special opening comments for the event. Funds raised through Moving Day will support cutting-edge research, educational resources and community programs to improve the lives of people with Parkinson’s disease and their families.
