UPDATE on 2/6: The Hall Management Group says they sold the Old Village Post House Inn to OVPHI Partners LLC, a group of local investors. Those investors chose to close the restaurant. Their plans for the space have not been announced yet. Click here for more information.

According to The Post & Courier, Mt. Pleasant’s Old Village Post House will close after brunch service on Sunday. The restaurant and inn, which opened in 2003, is located at 101 Pitt Street.
A manager at the restaurant declined to tell the newspaper why they were closing, or “whether another operator will take over the property.”
