As a leader in news, entertainment, and lifestyle content, TODAY will deliver broadcast and digital coverage to its viewers from Charleston Wine + Food. The program will be featured at several signature events, including Bread of the South, Raising Shell, Winederlust, Smokin’ in the Boys’ Room, and A Catchy Name. TODAY will also participate in the Culinary Village from Friday, March 8th to Sunday, March 10th, and broadcast live from the Holy City throughout the festival.
On Monday, hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb – who will both be coming to Charleston to broadcast the 4th hour of TODAY from the festival – enjoyed fresh buttermilk biscuits from Callie’s Hot Little Biscuits and The Captain Bloody Mary from The Darling Oyster Bar.
Host and weather forecaster Al Roker will also be in Charleston as he reports live from the festival’s centrally located Culinary Village during the show.
“We are immensely proud and excited to embark on this partnership with TODAY and we look forward to showing TODAY viewers what we think makes the culinary and hospitality community of Charleston so special,” Gillian Zettler, executive director of Charleston Wine + Food, said.
