Shuck-A-Rama is the annual Lowcountry fundraising event for BIASC, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to provide critical help and support to persons with brain injury and their families, educating the public on the risks and impact of brain injury, and advocating for legislation, and improving community-based services.
The event will include an oyster roast, chicken and white bean chili, beer and wine, live music, and an
oyster-themed silent auction.
Mayor John Tecklenburg has joined the event’s Host Committee and will be attending to show his support. Other Host Committee members include ABC News 4 meteorologist Emily Gracey, Andrew Gowdown, an Attorney at Rosen Hagood Law Firm; and Tate Mikell, a spokesman for BIASC and the Special Olympics.
