Palmetto Moon, an award-winning Southern lifestyle retailer based in Charleston, will celebrate the grand opening of its new location at the Tanger Outlets in North Charleston. The celebration will be held from 10 am to 2 pm on both Saturday, April 28th and Sunday, April 29th.
The first 400 customers each day will receive a free 20 oz custom YETI tumbler or tote with purchase. In addition to raffling off a free YETI cooler every hour, the celebration will also feature “spin to win” giveaways every 15 minutes with prizes that include YETI coolers, Palmetto Moon gift cards, and giveaways from popular brands such as Costa, Simply Southern, Vineyard Vines, Corkcicle and more.
To better serve Palmetto Moon’s growing team and customer base, current store operations at the Citadel Mall in Charleston—including merchandise and staff—will move to the larger space at Tanger Outlets. The Citadel Mall store will close on Monday, April 23rd. Previously leased office and warehouse spaces at the Citadel Mall will also move to an alternative location in North Charleston, providing 50,000-square-feet of space.
The 7,200-square-foot store, replacing the former Eddie Bauer location, sits on a corner space near J. Crew and Polo Ralph Lauren and across from Starbucks Coffee and Brooks Brothers. The store is easily accessible via the Centre Pointe Drive entrance and adjacent parking lot.
Palmetto Moon currently operates 18 locations throughout the Southeast in North Charleston (two locations), Mount Pleasant, Summerville, Florence, Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, Columbia (two locations), and Greenville, SC; Dawsonville, Savannah and Augusta, GA; Jacksonville and Daytona Beach, FL; and Charlotte and Wilmington, NC. Palmetto Moon has been voted “Best Collegiate Store” and “Best Gift Store” in Charleston for seven consecutive years (Charleston City Paper 2011 – 2017). Shop online at www.palmettomoononline.com.
