The 7th Annual Gimme Shelter fundraiser will take place on Wednesday, April 19th from 6 pm to 10 pm down at the downtown Home Team BBQ. Funds raised during the event will support Operation Home’s critical home repair, wheelchair ramp, and heat and cold relief programs throughout the Lowcountry.
For $75 per person, guests can enjoy a cocktail hour featuring appetizer stations and two custom cocktails from Home Team BBQ; a dinner buffet with unique off-menu dishes and popular Home Team BBQ favorites; and an open bar with a satellite bar outside in the courtyard. Local Charleston band Junco Partner will perform live in the courtyard throughout the evening.
Guests will also have the chance to bid on items in a silent auction for the week leading up to and during the event online at www.operationhome.org. Tickets can be purchased by calling 843-212-8936 or on the aforementioned website.
Home Team BBQ is located in downtown Charleston at 126 Williman Street. On April 19th, the restaurant will close for regular service at 3 pm, and will reopen after “Gimme Shelter” at 10 pm for late night service.
