The weekend following Thanksgiving (November 24-26), Freshfields Village will host a variety of family-friendly events, including a visit from Santa Claus, the annual Holiday Festival, Santa Paws Sunday, and Santa’s Little Helpers Yoga. In addition, retailers will offer in-store promotions and events all weekend.
Bring the whole family out for a photo with Santa in Santa’s Workshop at the Village. Each family will receive one free photo print, courtesy of Freshfields Village. Santa will be available for photos on Friday, November 24th and Saturday, November 25th from 10 am to 6 pm, and on Sunday, November 26th from 1 pm to 6 pm.
On Saturday, November 25th, get in the holiday spirit with the Village’s annual Holiday Festival. From 11 am to 3 pm, kids can enjoy face painting by Cupcake the Clown, balloon twisting, inflatable games, and rides on a mechanical reindeer. Booths on the Village Green will provide holiday crafts and other activities. Local musician John Cusatis will perform throughout the festival, with opportunities for kids to join him onstage. Food and holiday treats will be available for purchase from a variety of local vendors.
Then on Sunday, November 26th, children are invited to join Studio 33 for a complimentary kids’ yoga class featuring holiday treats and a surprise guest during Santa’s Little Helpers Yoga from 11:30 am to 12:15 pm. That afternoon, you can snap a photo of your pet with Santa during “Santa Paws Sunday.” From 1 pm to 6 pm, each pet or family will receive a free photo print. Guests are encouraged to make a donation to the Charleston Animal Society during the event.
