Leftovers: Tidbits from the Food & Bev Community (5/16/17)



As you can imagine, Holy City Sinner gets inundated with press releases and information – especially from the food and beverage community. I created the “Leftovers” series to ensure I could share as much food and bev news as possible.

  1. Mex 1 Coastal Cantina is hosting a pop-up dinner with Cane Rhum Bar at Mex 1 in Sullivan’s Island on Wednesday, May 17 th. The dinner begins at 5 pm and features plates by Chef Paul Yellin. Plus, Ward Buckheister will perform during the event.
  2. The Mac Daddy Food Truck (from Crave Kitchen & Cocktails) is available for your Memorial Day weekend celebrations. To order your mac trays and for more information about the Mac Daddy Food Truck, please visit

  4. On Thursday, May 25th, FILL Restaurant & Piano Bar will host A Jazzy Affair featuring Jazz Artists of Charleston favorites Charlton Singleton and Quiana Parler.
