On Tuesday, August 10th, Lowcountry AIDS Services (LAS) will bring Gay Bingo, their marquee fundraising event, back to the Memminger Auditorium. This year’s theme is “The Show Must Go On: Best of Broadway,” and costumes are highly encouraged.
Gay Bingo, “where the winner is never a straight line and everyone has a ball,” will once again be hosted by Patti O’Furniture, the “Camp Queen of the Carolinas.”
Although Gay Bingo will be a fun and lively event, organizers also hope to raise awareness, tolerance, and advocacy for those with HIV/AIDS. The epidemic is still affecting many in the Charleston community – LGBT and straight alike.
General admission tickets are $25, but reserved tables and VIP tickets are also available. Plus, fans of Holy City Sinner can save $5 on tickets when they use promo code SINNER! Code is available through July 15th, so don’t wait! Click here for more info.
