On Saturday, April 8th, from 1 to 2 pm, Itinerant Literate Books will host author Ashley Poston at The Orange Spot Coffeehouse in Park Circle for an author reading, signing, and fan gathering. Poston will sign copies of her new young adult novel, Geekerella, a “Cinderella retelling with a fangirl twist.”
Itinerant Literate, a mobile bookstore operated out of a vintage trailer, will be set up at The Orange Spot all morning. Attendees are encouraged to come in their favorite fandom gear, whether that is Harry Potter costumes, Dr. Who T-shirts, Hunger Games battle gear, or other cult favorites.
Affectionately called “the geekiest spin on Cinderella you’ll ever read” by Hypable, Geekerella is Poston’s third novel. Pre-orders are available for the book in store and on Itinerant Literate’s online store. The bookstore will be open at the coffee shop on April 4th from 9 am to 5 pm for order pickups. Subject to availability, books will also be available day of.
For more information and updates on the signing, visit the Facebook event.
