TEDxCharleston is currently accepting speaker and performer applications for its 2017 event – SHAKE IT UP. Applicants have until March 1st to submit ideas and performance samples online at tedxcharleston.org. Now in its fifth year, the event will take place on October 18th at the Charleston Music Hall.
With the “Shake It Up” theme, this year’s speakers will share ideas that “challenge a status quo, question stagnation and inactivity, and inspire audiences to take local and global action.” Organizers say they are seeking speakers and performers making an impact in fields such as technology, business, arts, culture, science, environment, and education.
