Getting your free bike light set is super easy. All you need to do is pedal to the corner of St. Philip and Calhoun between 5 pm and 7:30 pm. Charleston Moves will hook you up with the set and their “Better Streets, Better Ride” spoke cards, which feature tips for riding smart and knowing your rights as a Charleston bicyclist.
In addition, volunteers will strap light sets to bikes parked along King Street from Spring to Market.
When it comes time to replace these lights, stop by your local bike shop for a new set. Remember — solid white in front, blinking red in back.
