Home Team BBQ Tweaks Menu Format & Expands Cocktail Program

With a new downtown location opening in early 2016, Home Team BBQ decided to launch a new menu format and cocktail program at its current restaurants. 

The new format focuses on the meat program which has expanded to include items like pork belly, beef ribs, house cured hams, smoked pastrami, sausages, porchetta, and brisket. They are being served as platters with two sides, bread, pickles, and onions. A variety of sandwiches, menu favorites, and the build-your-own taco option remain available.

The Sullivan’s Island location also serves the popular Fiery Ron Burger, a BLT, and a pimento cheese melt. There is also an ever-evolving “specials” menu that will feature more seasonal and inventive dishes. 

The new cocktail menu features drinks like:

  • The Charlestonian with Hat Trick Barrel Rested Gin
  • Fiery Ron’s Ol’ Fashioned Smokey which is served with a rounded ball of smoked ice
  • Skazerac featuring Bittermilk’s popular #4 line

The new cocktail program will also include some hard to find and rare bourbon, scotches, Irish whiskeys, and tequila. Along with cocktails, the beer and wine program has been expanded to offer more variety and local products.
