USACares, a national non-profit organization has launched a South Carolina Chapter in an effort to reach more post-9/11 veterans in need of services and help. To kick off awareness and outreach in the state, the chapter will present a community social tomorrow from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at Palmetto Brewing.
According to the local chapter, South Carolina is home to eight military installations and a population of over 408,000 veterans. The organization helps provide families with assistance that helps prevent homelessness, loss of utilities, hunger, unemployment, and more.
