The Latin American Festival begins at noon this Sunday afternoon at North Charleston’s Wannamaker County Park. The event will celebrate the “sights and sounds of the Latin world” with live Salsa and Merengue music, authentic food, crafts, and more.
This year’s schedule includes:
- 11 am: DJ Luigi
- 12 pm: Orquesta Mayor
- 1 pm: Capoeira Charleston
- 1:30 pm: Buen Ache Dance Company
- 2 pm: Orquesta Mayor
- 3 pm: DJ Luigi and Salsa Dance contest
- 4:30 pm: Locos por Juana
Admission is $10 for adults; $5 for students or those with a military ID; and free children 12-and-under and Gold Pass holders. Food, beverages, and souvenirs will be available for purchase on-site.
