RiverDogs’ “Run, Forrest, Run” 5K Race Scheduled for 5/16

The Charleston RiverDogs have scheduled their annual “Run Forrest Run” 5k for Saturday, May 16th. The race precedes the team’s game that night against the Greenville Drive.

The 12th edition of the Forrest Gump-themed race will start at 4 pm outside of The Joe and concludes at home plate.

If you register for the race by May 14th, the cost is $30 per runner. Each runner will receive a race packet, t-shirt, and one ticket to that evening’s RiverDogs game. Late registration is $35. Proceeds from the event benefit the MUSC Storm Eye Institute.

There will be a post-race dinner and awards ceremony.
