This Friday, Southern Season will host chef Vivian Howard for a cooking demonstration and meet-and-greet. The star of PBS’s A Chef’s Life will be at the venue from noon until 3 pm.
During the free event, Chef Howard and Southern Season will launch their co-branded product line. Namely, they will present two types of snack mixes – a coconut peanut crumble and a spicy pecan and pumpkin seed crumble – created by the Chef Howard. Her specialty gift collections will also be available.
Chef Howard is the owner of the North Carolina restaurants, The Boiler Room Oyster Bar and Chef & the Farmer. Her television program has won a Peabody Award and was also a finalist for a James Beard Media Award in 2014.
