Can you believe that the Holiday Festival of Lights will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this year? It’s hard to believe the holiday staple has been around for a quarter century, but it’s true!
This year’s festival will run from November 14th through January 1st and will include an estimated two million lights and 700 displays over a three mile loop at the James Island County Park.
In honor of the 25th anniversary, one lucky guest each evening will receive a special gift valued at $25 as they drive through the park gates. Plus, Charleston County Parks will give away a 5-night cruise as part of this year’s event. To enter the cruise sweepstakes, visit this website.
The festival’s Grand Opening ceremony will be held on Friday, November 14th and will include a tree lighting ceremony, live entertainment, fireworks, and more. Festivities will start at 6 pm at Park Center.
