Magnolia Plantation and Gardens will host the family-friendly Ladybug Release on Saturday, July 26th at 9 am.
About 150,000 ladybugs will be set free in the Lowcountry’s largest one-time release and your children could have a hands-on part in the event. Each child in attendance will receive a small container containing ladybugs for them to release.
Plus, prizes will be awarded for the best ladybug costume in the age categories of one to two years old, three to five, and six and older.
There will also be nature displays and a face painter on the property during the release.
A $15 general garden admission is required to participate. Children under six are free.
