Taking Flight Comic Book Show Back at The Sparrow
Park Circle Comics and The Sparrow will once again join forces for the Taking Flight Comic Book Show.
The fifth version of this event will feature meet and greets with artists, comics for sale, drink specials, and more. The show will be at the Park Circle bar from noon until 5 pm this Saturday.
Check-out the guest rundown:
- Emil Koepcke (Sinthetic)
- Paul Choate (Project Alpha)
- Christine Brunson (Undead Norm)
- Writer Matthew D. Smith (Simon Says)
The show is free, but there is a suggested donation of $5 at the door. The proceeds will benefit Wings For Kids, an “education program that teaches kids how to behave well, make good decisions and build healthy relationships by weaving a comprehensive social and emotional learning curriculum into a fresh and fun after school program.”

For the Taking Flight Comic Book Show V this Saturday Park Circle Comics will be publishing a comic book EXCLUSIVELY for the show! A Matthew D. Smith Simon Says story, an Emil Koepcke Sinthetic story, a Christine Brunson Undead Nom (yep, Nom and not Norm) story and a Paul Choate Project Alpha story. Along with that it will have a sketch page that you can get one or all of them to personalize the comic just for you!
We are super excited about this since it is something I have never seen done for a show in the 30+ years I have been selling comic books. A comic book with work from EVERY participating artist JUST for this show!
