This inaugural event is an innovative and multifaceted fundraiser from the imagination of Ms. Sarah Long. All proceeds from the mixer will benefit the Trident Literacy Association, a nonprofit that believes in the power of literacy and assists adults in accomplishing their goals toward it.
Here’s how the event works:
On the day of the mixer, bring your gently used media (CDs, DVDs, records, books, etc.) and receive two FREE tickets to exchange for “new-to-you” media. Additional items may be purchased for $2 each throughout the event.
The mixer also includes:
- Drink specials
- Raffles (with items from places like EVO, South of Broadway Theater, and The Brew Cellar
- Cory’s Grilled Cheese
- King of Pops
So, come on out and support literacy in the community!
If you plan on donating or attending, RSVP on the Facebook event page!
