The good people and the furry friends they care for over at Pet Helpers are in need of the community’s help. Earlier today the organization posted on their Facebook page that they were in need of dog, cat, puppy and kitten food for their food pantry. The organization, in an attempt to keep animals in their homes rather than the shelter, provides food to owners who can’t afford to feed their pets.
It’s extremely easy to help one of the area’s best organizations – all you have to do is drop off any pet food at their 1447 Folly Road headquarters during the following hours:
- Monday – Friday between 11am and 6pm
- Saturday between 11 am and 5 pm
- and Sunday between 12 pm and 4 pm
According to their “wish list,” Pet Helpers prefers Friskies or 9Lives canned, dry cat food and Pedigree canned dry dog/puppy food. If you have something different, just give them a call to make sure they accept it (843-795-1110).
