Upper King Closed Due to Apparent Gas Leak

UPDATE: 12:18 pm – The Charleston Fire Department says all streets are now open.

A portion of Upper King Street is currently closed due to an apparent gas leak. Specifically, traffic is blocked off from Mary Street to Cannon Street as authorities work near 532 King Street. As a precaution a few buildings in the area have been evacuated.
