RiverDogs Seeing Red On Fridays
The Charleston RiverDogs announced that their “General Dynamics Land Systems-Force Protection Red Shirt Friday” series will return this season.
Any fans who wear red shirts to Friday home games, will save $1 off the purchase of their ticket at the box office. That dollar can then be donated to benefit the charity Canines for Veterans.
The RiverDogs players, their manager and coaches will be joining in by wearing specially-made red jerseys during those games. As a side benefit for fans, those jerseys will be auctioned at the conclusion of the season with the proceeds benefitting Canines for Veterans, a Charleston based program that provides quality trained dogs to Veterans with disabilities.
