It seems more and more people are turning to websites like Kickstarter and indiegogo to help their dreams come true. It worked for Crowfield and a Holy City filmmaker is hoping he can raise enough money to complete his latest movie.
Mellow Mushroom first made me aware of Henry Synder when they posted about his indiegogo campaign on their Twitter and Facebook accounts. Synder wrote, directed, and co-produced a short film called “Randall,” which premiered at the Charleston International Film Festival earlier this year. His latest movie is called “A Place to Stay” and will be filmed in Charleston this summer.
They are taking donations for as little as $1, but you start receiving benefits at the $20 mark. You can donate and learn more HERE.
Can’t donate? You can still spread the word by sharing this page or their indiegogo page. They also could use volunteers (see their website).
