***UPDATE 8/3/12**** Jesse Rice had to cancel due to “unforseen circumstances.” Local Charleston musician Ben Bounds will be filling in, so the event is still on!
Jesse Rice, a native of Conway, will be returning to the Lowcountry for the Irvin-House Vineyards’ Sippin’ Saturdays series. Rice, a musician who now calls Nashville home, will be performing under the pseudonym The Pirate Sessions on August 4th.
Rice started The Pirate Sessions as a conceptual idea springing from one of the country artist’s songs. The Facebook page for The Sessions says the music is “a trip to the islands and back in time.”
As usual there will be food and drinks available as well as the opportunity to sample some Firefly Vodka and/or wine. Farm on Fire will be that week’s featured food vendor.
The Facebook Event Page is HERE.
Details about Sippin’ Saturday can be found HERE.
You can hear some of Rice’s music HERE.
