Stride the Wave 5k, a run benefiting the Warrior Surf Foundation (WSF) will take place on Sunday, April 21st at 9 am at James Island County Park. Proceeds will go towards WSF’s Surf Therapy Program, which provides 12 weeks of free surf therapy, yoga, wellness classes and community to Veterans struggling with PTSD and other mental health challenges.
Registration is now open. General registration costs $40, virtual registration costs $35, registration for Warrior Surf Alumni costs $30 and registration for kids costs $15. Those who register before March 31st will receive a T-shirt.
On April 21st, the James Island County Park gates will open at 8 am and there will be a $2 entry fee for everyone over the age of two. Check-in and T-shirt pickup will run from 8 am to 8:45 am.
