Charleston County Community Development is looking for non-profit and for-profit organizations with experience in developing affordable housing. Charleston County is requesting applications (RFA) for the first of four phases of the Charleston Home Program. In each phase, four residential properties will be bid out to be rehabilitated into livable, affordable housing units.
The properties included in Phase I of this solicitation include:
- 2964 Marginal Rd, Charleston, SC 29414
- 1138 Oxbow Dr, Charleston, SC 29412
- 1535 Keswick Dr, Johns Island, SC 29455
- 1316 Garrison St, Charleston, SC 29412
Once the projects are complete, the properties will be deeded to the selected partner and added to Charleston County's affordable housing inventory as for sale opportunities, or rentals.
