The Flying Biscuit Café has announced its latest restaurant, located in West Ashley, will open to the public on Monday, January 29th, 2024. Flying Biscuit Café West Ashley is the second Charleston area location for the all-day breakfast chain, which has been serving its popular biscuits and southern-inspired meals throughout the Southeast for more than 30 years.
The new West Ashley based Flying Biscuit Café will also be the second franchise location for owner Summer Lee, who opened the concept in Greenville, South Carolina in 2019.
“As the birthplace of Charleston, West Ashley is home to some of the city’s best neighborhoods and is full of history and beauty, making it the perfect destination for the Flying Biscuit Café,” Lee said. “I’ve been wanting to open in West Ashley for several years, and I believe our Greenville location, with all its growth, newfound tourism and nearby attractions, has prepared me well for the next level here in Charleston.”
Lee is already working to develop strong ties to the West Ashley neighborhood with plans to give back to schools and other local non-profits and charities, while also sponsoring area sporting events and organizations.
To celebrate the opening, Flying Biscuit West Ashley will offer $1 and $5 daily grand opening specials throughout the week of January 29th, 2024. Highlights will include Friday’s special of $5 Shrimp & Grits and $5 Burgers and Sandwiches.
The new Flying Biscuit Café in West Ashley is located at 2245 Ashley Crossing Drive, Unit 16. Operating hours are 7 am to 2 pm, Monday to Friday and 7 am to 3 p, Saturday & Sunday. The restaurant will also offer takeout and catering and can be contacted at westashleycharleston@
