This past Monday, PBS aired “America After Charleston,” a one-hour town hall meeting that was taped in the Holy City’s Circular Congregational Church. You can watch the show in its entirety below.
The program explores the issues that became part of the national discussion after the June 2015 shooting at Charleston’s Mother Emanuel AME Church. The meeting, which was hosted by Gwen Ifill, was held just blocks from the site of that tragic event. PBS broadcasted a similar program after the shooting death of Michael Brown and subsequent riots in Ferguson, Missouri.
