Today, the Charleston Music Hall announced that two musical legends would be visiting the venue this spring. The Taj Mahal Trio will perform on April 30 (moved to October 22, 2015), while Leo Kottke will play on May 1, 2015.
Taj Mahal is a Grammy Award-winning blues musician with a career that has spanned five decades. His Grammy victories were for 1997’s Señor Blues and 2000’s Shoutin’ in Key. The Taj Mahal Trio also includes Kester Smith (drums) and Bill Rich (bass).
Tickets to see the Taj Mahal Trio go on sale this Friday at 10 am. However, there is an internet pre-sale beginning at 10 am on Thursday. You will need to use the password: Eyes. The show will begin at 8 pm.
Leo Kottke is a well-known acoustic guitarist. His career began in 1969 and has featured over 20 studio albums.
