Charleston residents are certainly familiar with food trucks, but what about food boats? If one company has its way, the food boat will be as commonplace in the Holy City as their wheeled counterparts.
Food On Boats has set up a funding website and hopes to launch on Memorial Day weekend. According to that webpage, they would dock within certain waterways each weekend or attend large boat gatherings. Food On Boats also says they would be available for private parties. Menu items include: burgers, chicken sandwiches, pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, chips, snacks, and cold drinks.
